Just Kids Merrington
Just Kids Merrington opened in November 2017. This lovely centre is tucked away on Merrington Crescent in Aranui, next door to the community playground.
Just Kids Merrington is a mixed-license centre where siblings are able to be together, learn together and extend on their relationship within the preschool environment. The teaching team are committed to providing a warm, respectful, safe environment – a home away from home, which is responsive to the needs and development of all tamariki in their care.
At our Merrington Cresent centre we provide a free transport service. We are also funded to provide morning and afternoon tea and lunches every day; as well as socks, shoes, gumboots, jackets, and head lice treatment. We welcome and provide support for parents of children with diverse needs, parent evenings, whānau events, 30 Hours Free Childcare for 3 and 4 year olds….and more.

Just Kids Merrington is a family oriented preschool, every child is loved and cared for by their gorgeous staff members. Any concern that I had about my child was heard and worked on with the most respect for my parenting and my child's development. The staff here have a lot of love for their work and it shows in the environment they've made for the kids. Art and culture and self expression are valued and celebrated, and a range of activities mean that everyone has something to be good at. My child grew beautifully at Just Kids, they did an amazing job and I am so thankful they looked after my little one as well as they did. - JUNE 2025
